Download:

A presentation of the newly developed toolkit for organizing around ratification of the International Covenant of Economic and Political Rights will help add practical advice for your international organizing efforts. In addition, substantive topics such as Gaza, Korea, and other international work will be updated.

Retreat will provide formal and informal time to evaluate our strengths and our developmental needs over the past several years and develop a new way of operating to be more effective and make better use of everyone's time and energy. If you know of anyone who might be interested in helping take a role in leadership around international issues please ask them to attend.

The emphasis of the meeting will be on a positive template that is easiest to implement and not dwell on past shortcomings. We want to establish a simpler way to operate as a committee and to find ways to strengthen the substantive work of our subcommittees with an emphasis on ways to expand membership and reach out to other organizations.
