A White Paper by the International Association of Democratic Lawyers explains the reasoning and legal bases underlying IADL's condemnation of the Israeli bombardment and invasion of Gaza.
And a Final Report by the NLG's Delegation to Gaza states the evidence establishing the case that the Israeli military committed significant violations of international law.
Legal analyses of Israel's bombardment and invasion of Gaza in December, 2008, and January, 2009, that focus on Israeli violations of international law, the laws of war, and international humanitarian law are correct to do so as a matter of law.
Read the White Paper by the International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL) and the International Committee of the National Lawyers Guild.
From February 2 through 7, 2009 (within two weeks of Israel's unilateral declaration of ceasefire), the Guild's eight-member fact-finding delegation toured Gaza City, Beit Lahiya, Jabaliya, Rafah, and Khan Yunis. The delegation conducted interviews and inspected and photographed damage.
Read its Final Report, "Onslaught: Israel's Attack on Gaza & the Rule of Law."
Guild Gaza delegation members reported to the NLG 2009 Law for the People Convention in Seattle. Watch the video.
