We will start at the World Bank (1818 H St. NW) at 5:00 PM due to the institution’s long-time financing of the destructive mega-projects Berta Cáceres died opposing. Around 5:30 we will walk 3 blocks to the Inter-American Comission on Human Rights-IACHR (1889 F St. NW), as the Honduran government is scheduled for hearings there from 3:45 until 6:00 PM. We will uphold Berta Caceres’ legacy on the fight for human rights, against criminal exploitation of nature, and for the self-determination of the native peoples of Honduras and the Americas.

Alrededor de las 5:30 PM tendra lugar una vigilia frente a la Comision Inter- Americana de Derechos Humanos-CIDH (1889 F St. NW) para honrar a Berta Cáceres y su lucha contra la explotacion criminal de los recursos naturales y abusos hacia los pueblos nativos de Honduras y de toda America.
